Family Fun Day, Jacka Park, Wedderburn Australia Day - 26th January 2012 The Family Fun Day proved to be a fairly successful day. We were able to pass on information about the sport of darts as well as a bit of info about our league. We managed to sell a couple of stubby holders and with a bit of luck we've sewn the seed for some next generation players. Quite a few took the advantage to have a throw at the dartboard we had set up, and despite the wind there seems to be a bit of hidden talent in the community. Special thanks has to go out to Robbie Day, Tania O'Connell, Gary & Amon Sinnott, Murray Smyth, Lee Day & Grahame Kuta for their help in setting up, staffing and dismantling our display. Don't
forget our own Family Fun Day at Melville's Caves on Sunday 12th February. |

In an effort to further promote darts in North Central Victoria, the LDA is pleased to announce the introduction of the Wedderburn White Twenty tournament in November. The Fossicker's Cup will still be held in July, and if you enter both tournaments by 25th June, you will save a massive $30.00 off your entry fee. So get in early. As in previous years, it's first in, best dressed. You will be pleased to know that the Wedderburn Mechanic's Institute Hall is now fully air conditioned, so we shouldn't experience the extreme temperatures that we have had to endure in previous tournaments.
